Trying to assess your roof’s condition? Get the full picture of your property with a drone survey

Drone surveys allow quick and easy access to all parts of your property, providing a detailed assessment of its condition to give you a clear and accurate quote for refurbishment and repair.

Drone surveys are one of the new additions to the services we offer here at Cladding Coatings. Yet, unsurprisingly, they’re proving highly popular with clients who know that assessing every area of their property gives the best picture of its overall condition.

How do drone surveys work?

Operating the drone having passed his PFCO written and flight exam for drones, our MD Mike Hallwood doesn’t need to bring much equipment for your drone site survey, so disruption is minimal. He can fly the craft over areas of your building with otherwise challenging visibility, such as your roof – recording footage of the site. This footage is then played back and reviewed in detail to give you the most accurate quote based on exact property condition. Our team can reassess the video at any time during the repair or refurbishment project, and can also return on project completion to capture the full extent of our work.

How will a drone survey benefit you?

A drone survey ensures that you’re receiving a fair and accurate assessment of your building’s condition quickly and easily.

  • No hidden surprises: we’ll be able to assess the condition of your property’s roof in detail, meaning our quotation will be even more accurate.
  • The full picture: drones make it easy to see areas not usually visible, and we’ll provide you with photos and videos to back-up our findings.
  • Reduced disruption: we won’t need to set up access equipment to get your quote, so can price up your job quickly without a lengthy survey.

How else can drone surveys help you?

Drone surveys cause very little disruption to your site and its day-to-day operations. There’s no need to bring potentially cumbersome access equipment to carry out a site survey. With a drone survey, we can assess otherwise inaccessible areas or those that would be hard to reach without specialist equipment.

Drones are small and largely unintrusive, so you may barely notice our team at work. We’ve created a to show you how our drones look in action.

Drone surveys are often provided alongside digital mock-ups for clients looking for a complete picture of their property before work begins. Digital mock-ups allow us to apply your chosen colour scheme to an image of your building, so you can test out colour options and visualise the finished result. To find out more about a digital mock-up of your property, contact the team or read more.

Remember, if you book your site survey before the end of February 2020 you’ll receive your drone survey and digital mock-up completely free (T&Cs apply). Drone surveys are, of course, usually chargeable, but booking today secures your drone survey as complimentary.
