When conducting any work at your site, the safety of you, your colleagues and visitors, and the Cladding Coatings team is paramount. Therefore, it’s essential that we remain up to date with the latest health and safety regulations, and strict adherence to CDM 2015 is one way in which we protect you.
CDM 2015 – the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 – came into force in Great Britain on 6th April 2015. The regulations clearly set out what people involved in construction work, such as ourselves, must do in order to protect themselves, and anyone else affected by their work, from harm. These guidelines replace those issued in 2007 (which were already inherent within our day-to-day operations), and adherence to the latest version allows us to confidently remain at the forefront of health and safety developments.
As we fully comply with the latest CDM regulations, when carrying out our work we can ascertain that we gather the right information about any risks, and how they are being managed, and fully communicate this to our team and anyone else affected by our operations. We also plan all work carefully and sensibly to manage these risks for the entire duration of the project: from the moment we begin to the moment the work is completed. Not only this, but we also ensure that we have the correct people for the right job at the right time, and that this work is carefully coordinated to fully cooperate with your needs on site.
Take a look at the short video here, where Norman Hamilton, Building Surveyor for Whittle Jones, discusses the value he places on health and safety compliance and the trust he has in Cladding Coatings Ltd. We’ve worked with Whittle Jones North East for four years across a number of their sites, and have remained steadfastly dedicated to the safety of the team and their colleagues on site.
The testimonial from Norman Hamilton not only vouches for the quality and longevity of our repainting and cladding services, but also explains how fundamental our compliance with the latest CDM regulations is to both his decision to use Cladding Coatings and in his faith in our team. As we provide method statements, risk assessments and a construction phase plan, Whittle Jones can be confident in our responsible and methodical approach to our work and the ownership we take over each and every element of the process.
Our strict adherence to CDM 2015 regulations and health and safety procedures, alongside our expertise and the backing of our 10-Year Guarantee, makes Cladding Coatings the clear choice to provide not only quality service but also complete peace of mind.
If you’d like more information about our compliance with health and safety procedures and how we’ll work at your site, please don’t hesitate to give one our friendly team a call on 0161 626 3493.

We are now well into Winter, but at least the thaw of the latest recent icy weather has begun. As the colder months start to fade and the brighter days of spring approach, this is a unique window of opportunity…
