Our team of cladding painters here at Cladding Coatings are the hardworking faces you meet on site. Whether they’re refurbishing your wall coating, recoating your metal roofs, or processing quotes and queries, they’re part of the close-knit team dedicated to making your building look and perform like new again.
It’s impossible to share each and every highlight from every member of the Cladding Coatings team. So we’ve chosen a selection of our favourite moments to see our 2021 with celebration, from welcoming new cladding painters to some landmark celebrations.
Mike and his son, our Cladding Coatings MD Mike Hallwood Junior, set up Cladding Coatings back in 2008. After 11 years of varied projects, numerous clients and getting stuck in on every site, Mike Hallwood Senior officially retired at the end of 2019.
Naturally, the following year’s restrictions meant marking that landmark occasion together at the time wasn’t possible. But we finally came together in July 2021 to celebrate as a team and give Mike the true send off he rightly deserved. You can take a look at our team of cladding painters and wider staff raising a toast to Mike, as well as see him in action on site, here.
Mike’s legacy is a strong work ethic that all our cladding painters share today. Everyone is incredibly thankful for his commitment, and delighted we could finally celebrate his retirement together in 2021.
It’s been a year to remember for Contracts Manager Jake, with a charity marathon run and a marriage celebration!
After the original race was postponed due to covid, Jake took part in the Manchester 2021 Marathon in October. Many months of hard work and training saw Jake to successful race completion, and helped him raise an incredible total for charity.
Jake celebrated an even bigger life event the month before, as he married his girlfriend Charlotte in a wonderful ceremony. Jake and Charlotte faced endless covid-related postponements to their big day, so we’re even more delighted they were able to finally get married in 2021. We wish them many years of happiness.
In 2021, our team of cladding painters grew once again with some invaluable new additions to the team. We welcomed Niall and Robert, no doubt you’ll have seen them getting stuck in on site, and we’re proud of the wealth of knowledge and ability they’re quickly and skilfully learning as part of the team.
The team also enjoyed some more of what we knew as a ‘normal’ life, from Brian’s golfing and Sally’s travels to our MD Mike enjoying his first hotel meal during an overnight stay on the job after months of restrictions.

As we head into the new year, we’d like to thank each and every one of our dedicated team for the work they’ve done, not just in 2021 but throughout their time with us.
We will reopen on Monday 10th January, when our committed team look forward to making your building look like new again for a successful start to 2022.

We are now well into Winter, but at least the thaw of the latest recent icy weather has begun. As the colder months start to fade and the brighter days of spring approach, this is a unique window of opportunity…
