Coronation Rock, Blackpool
External wall cladding painting work for the home of a famous Blackpool name required careful on site spraying and complete expert attention to detail.
Holding up the highest standards
Our work for this project was completed on the industrial estate unit site belonging to Coronation Rock in Blackpool. The unit is the facility associated with the locally-famed Coronation Rock shop, which sits in prominent position near the Blackpool promenade. In business making sweets since 1927, the company is somewhat of a Blackpool institution! Therefore, we needed to do them proud, and they needed to be able to trust in the well-respected experience and expertise of a cladding restoration company like Cladding Coatings.
To ensure that our work, as always, met only the highest standards to match company reputation, we began with a free of charge on site survey to assess the full condition of the unit in person. Then, we submitted a fast quotation, which the client accepted, and our team began work.
External wall cladding repair
The primary work required on the Coronation Rock unit was cladding painting to the exterior wall cladding. To do this, our team began with careful cladding cleaning and preparation work. This included preparing and painting the corroded brackets on the rear elevation, which had begun to show signs of cut-edge corrosion damage.
Once the façade was prepared for cladding painting, our on site spraying work began. The paint system of choice for application was our ever-popular Rust-Oleum Noxyde®. This ten-year system is proven to have exceptional anti-corrosion and waterproofing properties. This was particularly beneficial for this unit, which had already shown signs of corrosion damage. Our team of cladding painters installed the system on the wall cladding panels on the front and side of the Coronation Rock building, as well as all access points. Naturally, like every single system we use and every piece of work we do, the Rust-Oleum Noxyde® paint system is covered by our minimum ten year guarantee for optimal client peace of mind.
Taking care of every detail
An exterior wall cladding restoration project is never complete without attending to all the finer details of a client’s unit. Our work on the Coronation Rock building was no exception, and we made sure our gutter cleaning and coating expertise was used to seal the leaking gutter above the front door. This not only prevented an unsightly and awkward problem, but averted long-term damage concerns. By fixing the guttering, the gutter system is now able to perform its essential role of diverting water away from the property in the correct way, reducing the risk of further problems.
Not only did our team complete cladding painting, but we also painted additional external windows and doors. This made sure that every single detail on the façade was smart, professional and cohesive for an appealing finish. Last but not least, we hired a cherry picker to overreach the container. Not only was this included in our original quote for immediate, upfront cost transparency with the client, but it also meant our work on site gave the client one less thing to think about – making working with Cladding Coatings smooth, simple and stress-free.
