System Focus: Advantage

We’re always looking to add the latest coating systems to our growing portfolio, so we are delighted to introduce the newly-launched Advantage system. This innovative new product has already delivered great results for our team here at Cladding Coatings, despite only launching in April of this year.

Advantage is a hybrid system for industrial and commercial roof refurbishment. It is suitable for a wide range of roof surfaces and guttering, and is particularly effective on metal roofs (hence perfect for our work here at Cladding Coatings).

The system was developed through a partnership between Alltimes Coatings and Blocksil, two of the leading coating manufacturers in the industry. They conducted four years of research, development and extensive testing before bringing Advantage to the market. Its continuously impressive results showcase a revolutionary product that has been proven time and time again to exceed expectations, giving customers the assurance of an exceptional quality product.

The unique properties of Advantage mean it is both light and strong. Its individual chemical composition means it is moisture-tolerant, so can be applied in damp conditions: increasing opportunities and scope of work with minimal day-to-day disruptions. Advantage is also fully recoatable so can be applied in stages, unlike many other coating systems. This means we can return at any time to complete or repatch to suit our clients’ requirements.

The system is single-coat application, which increases speed and minimises costs. Advantage’s thin film coating has no membrane and is only 200 microns in thickness when applied, which is an impressive spread rate. As such, when using Advantage, we can cover a significantly larger surface area with greater speed and accuracy.

Further, the Advantage system is designed to withstand heavy loads due to its dual positive and negative pressure points. This means it will push back on the heavy weight of resting rainfall, helping maintain a constant building temperature. This is an impressive environmental benefit that we fully support here at Cladding Coatings. Additional benefits include solvent and VOC free composition, meaning Advantage doesn’t need hazardous storage. This makes onsite logistics of handling and storage easy.
