Cladding Coatings was recently contacted by BL Flooring, an established company who have been trading for over 20 years. BL Flooring supply floor coverings and accessories throughout the South West of England.

BL Flooring’s Manager, Jamie, contacted our team, he explained the work he required over the phone with our Assessor in the first instance. The building in question was not only to be a new branch for the company but also their first branch in their plans to expand into a new region. We understood Jamie’s priority that first impressions for this new store were very important for the regional launch to ensure that new customers were attracted to the premises and of course returned. BL Flooring wanted to ensure they had an attractive appearance to encourage customers to try them rather than their usual supplier.

From this telephone discussion our team was able to design digital images and mock-ups for BL Flooring’s team to review. We also prepared a budget quotation which would be subject to a full on-site survey before work could commence.

BL Flooring were happy with our presentation and we arranged an on-site survey. As we expected on arriving at the premises we found the exterior to be in a poor state of repair with flaking paint and corrosion evident and a mismatch of colour schemes.

Once the survey was completed we confirmed our original budget quotation and the firm quotation was presented to BL Flooring. Once this was agreed a start date was assigned.

The project involved applying a Noxyde and Rust-Oleum Metal cladding top coat, an excellent product for this project as it is possible to mix in any colour, it is also available in small quantities and supplied in short lead times. This top coat also offers excellent UV values and colour retention properties.

The project ran perfectly to schedule and on budget, presenting no challenges for our team. Which meant a happy customer and great new looking building for the new launch.

Following the success of this project we have since quoted for a further project at a Storage Warehouse for BL Flooring, they have also recommended us to another company, who we have since completed a project for.
