What is Wethertex?

Wethertex is the latest paint system from building product manufacturers Wetherby Group. They specialise in top-quality, highly-durable paints tested and proven to withstand even the most demanding conditions.

Wethertex is hugely flexible, as it can be applied by brush, roller or spray and has a 12-month shelf life. It is quick-drying, and usually needs a maximum of two coats for optimal application.

How does Wethertex work?

Wethertex OT25 Wood-Flex Timber Paint is a silicone resin based paint designed specifically for the unique needs and properties of wooden substrates. Wood substrates are typically high-movement, so Wethertex has been created with highly-flexible, microporous properties that prevent the paint from cracking as the building breathes.

Protection against water is also crucial for wooden cladding. As Wethertex is ultra-waterproofing, it protects your wooden cladding against any damp. Optilife silicone technology provides water resistance and breathability. This means no moisture is trapped in the wood, preventing mildew and mould build-up.

As well high-protection, Wethertex also provides a professional and presentable property appearance, with an opaque satin finish for all exterior timber.
