After retiring last year, the team have finally managed to get together and celebrate Michael Hallwood Senior’s retirement.

Michael Hallwood Senior set up the Cladding Coatings company in 2008 with his son Michael Hallwood Junior as one of the first companies in the UK to specialise in coating cladding. Having worked within the painting industry since leaving school, Mick has brought a wealth of experience to the business and a hardworking ethic which remains integral to Cladding Coatings today. Mick has been involved with and overseen lots of different projects over the years and has helped the business grow and develop into what it is today.

Last year Michael Hallwood Senior officially retired and took a step back from the cladding coating industry to enjoy new challenges and adventures.

Unfortunately, not long after Mick retired, the country went into a national lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Meaning that the Cladding Coatings team were unable to give Mick the proper send-off that he deserved.

The team haven’t been able to meet up socially since 2019, but on Saturday 24th July, they were finally able to get together and celebrate Mick’s well-earned retirement at the age of 69. It was great to make a toast to Mick finally and all his achievements at Cladding Coatings. Everyone had a fantastic evening.

We wish Mick a very happy retirement and thank him for his hard work over the last 13 years.
