Staying the required distance apart is one way of ensuring safety remains the priority as we reopen society. For many locations, highlighting social distances clearly has become a legal requirement for reopening. Therefore, floor marking to highlight safe positions to stand and indicate where to walk has become essential.
We’ve built strong relationships with many schools, colleges, and academies over our 12 years in business, and we’ve seen significant demand for floor markings in education facilities. As such, we’ve been working closely with education sites, and businesses, to help them implement social distancing guidance with floor graphics designed and applied to meet their exact needs.
Remember: thanks to our ongoing work in education, our operatives are DBS checked, and Government funding may be available for you.
Varied floor markings to suit your needs
We use high-performance paint systems suited to all types of flooring and external surfaces around your building, including tarmac and concrete.
It’s important for staff and students to feel comfortable, so floor markings in colours and styles they recognise are key. Our graphics are available in six different colours and in any design you require. We can customise stencils with wording or symbols of your choice.
The markings are semi-permanent so can be removed, if necessary, later. Naturally, due to weathering over time, they will gradually wear away. However, if required, we can reapply.
Graphics that are safe and secure
Floor graphics must be applied carefully and correctly to ensure safety: don’t forget, they’re expected to see high footfall and therefore must not become a trip hazard. Avoid this risk with floor markings installed by a team of highly skilled and thoroughly trained building repair specialists who know exactly how to carry out work with safety front of mind.
Circumstances are changing rapidly. Yet you can rest assured that our floor markings are quick to apply and dry within one hour. We work hours to suit you, with quotes provided in 48 hours.
Take a look at our team in action and see the type of graphics we can apply, from queuing spots to directional arrows.
Communicating a clear message
It can be incredibly confusing to adhere to social distances measures. Parents and carers queuing outside school gates often find themselves standing on public streets and being asked to adhere to a one-way system for access. However, without clearly floor markings, it would be impossible to know which way the system must flow.
For children, of course, it can be incredibly difficult to remember or understand how far they must be from other pupils in the playground or throughout the school grounds. The correct floor markings reduce confusion and help children feel safe and secure in their changing environment.
“Thanks for the social distancing markings outside school. Prompt, efficient, speedy, and friendly service. Highly recommended”
Jenny Axon: St Thomas Leesfield C of E Primary School
