Cladding Coatings industrial wall cladding knowledge was drawn upon to refurbish this unit for a well-known logistics firm at their site in Sharpness.

The site in question belongs to Howard Tenens a well-known logistics firm that happens to be an existing client of Cladding Coatings. We have previously completed refurbishment work on their sites in Andover and Swindon and we have built a good client relationship with them so we were delighted when they asked for our help on their site in Sharpness.

Howard Tenens is one of the largest independently owned and operated logistics companies in the UK. With a strong reputation to uphold they knew that their site needed to look smart but more importantly be able to live up to their business operations.

Precision planning to minimise disruption

First of all our team visited the Howard Tenens site in Sharpness to conduct a free on-site survey to see exactly what work needed to be completed.

It was evident that the industrial wall cladding on some of the elevations including the canopy and gable elevations were beginning to look worn and beginning to show signs of wear and tear. Therefore, industrial wall cladding coating would be required. It was also clear that the 9 loading doors would require painting too.

Working on a busy operational site requires careful planning. Once we had established the work that needed doing we came up with a work schedule to ensure that there would be minimal disruption to our client and their business operations.

For the external elevations including the canopy and the gable elevation, we elected to use the trusted Noxyde® by Rust-Oleum as it provides a smooth professional finish and offers excellent corrosion protection for years to come. Noxyde® can also be applied in a variety of shades and colours so we were able to get the exact colour that Howard Tenens required for their industrial wall cladding coating.

It is incredibly effective when applied in highly corrosive environments for example high salinity areas near the coast.
