Cladding Coatings have worked with Porcelanosa since 2015 and as a returning customer, they were so pleased with our work that we have now completed five of their stores in the UK.

Porcelanosa is a Spanish company with a presence in over 100 countries worldwide employing in the region of 5,000 skilled professionals. They offer high-end surfaces, fixtures & ceramic tiles for bathrooms & kitchens.

In the UK, Porcelanosa has over 20 showrooms where customers can browse the product range and discuss ideas with their qualified team of home design professionals.

The stores our team have refurbished over the past few years include Cardiff, Croydon, Nottingham, Doncaster and most recently, Sheffield. The external store refurbishments have been part of their nationwide refurbishment plan which has also included updated signage across its stores.

Porcelanosa needed to ensure its brand image was fresh and that its stores looked appealing to customers. During the process of updating signage, due to the different size and shapes, it meant that the newly exposed areas of the buildings looked very new when comparing to other areas of the building. This and some ageing to the metal cladding meant that external refurbishment was necessary for the stores to look nice and new with a consistent, high quality finish.

Cladding Coatings were able to bring one of their experienced teams on site to take on the challenge of refurbishing the shopfront of this store to ensure it was updated and consistent with their brand image and other stores across the country.

Our team started by preparing the surface, as we know that good preparation is key to achieving a high quality and long lasting finish. We strive for quality and make sure all our work is carried out to the highest standards.

All signage was removed from the external walls and any repair work carried out and holes filled ready for painting.

A system from Tor Coatings was applied to the cladding and windows on this store that is guaranteed for 10 years. The long guarantee provides peace of mind that the system will last with only a need for minimal maintenance.

The majority of the cladding was metal, but areas were brickwork, in these areas a special coating system was used to ensure it matched the metal clad areas.

Once completed the external walls of the face looked like new again and were ready to receive the new signage to finish the shopfront refurbishment.

During the time our team were on site they were mindful of the store operations and ensured that there was no disruption for shoppers or staff. Our teams are always careful and aware of the environment around them so that whilst on site they do not cause any harm or nuisance. We use dry fall paint systems for this reason, which means there is no overspray which may affect neighbouring properties or vehicles for example.
