Precision Pallets & Cases Ltd, Oldham
Cladding painting was required at this industrial site in Oldham, where the external wall cladding, loading and personnel doors showed signs of deterioration and wear.
Precision Pallets & Cases Ltd. are specialist manufacturers of timber and plywood pallets, cases and crates. With years of experience in their field of work, they are responsible for supplying pallets and cases to various sectors and industries. With this in mind, they knew the importance of having a building that could house their operations safely and securely to allow them to continue to manufacture and supply their products to their clients and customers.
They knew their industrial manufacturing site was showing some wear and tear areas and decided to contact the Cladding Coatings team to see what could be done to refresh their building’s external façade.
Cladding Coatings visited the Precision Pallets & Cases site in Oldham to conduct a free on-site survey and assess the condition of the external wall cladding.
It was evident from the on-site survey that this refurbishment project would require our external cladding painting services and our factory door painting services.
Accurate and efficient cladding painting
The front elevations on this industrial unit needed recoating to smarten up the building façade.
Before we got to work recoating the metal cladding, we first cleaned and prepped the area, ready for paint application. We ensured that any debris had been removed from the metal cladding’s surface for a smooth paint application.
For the cladding painting, we elected to use one of our trusted high-performance coating systems that we have used on numerous projects all over the country. The reliable Rust-Oleum Noxyde® has excellent anti-corrosion properties and can be applied in various colours to suit your business and your branding. The Noxyde® paint system is durable and hardwearing with excellent waterproofing properties and comes backed by a minimum 10-year guarantee.
To reach the higher parts of the front elevations, we employed the use of a cherry picker to give our team safe access when working at height. We always work hard on-site to ensure that all health and safety is adhered to, to protect our team, as well as your staff and visitors to your site.
We completed the external cladding painting using our on-site spraying method to ensure an even and consistent coverage for a professional-looking finish.
Door painting for a consistent finish
In addition to cladding painting, we also used our factory door painting skills to refresh a large loading door and a personnel door.
To keep business operations running smoothly and to protect valuable stock on-site, loading doors must be in correct working order.
Replacing doors can be expensive, which is why it is essential to keep them well maintained and in good condition. Thankfully the loading door on this unit wasn’t in such bad condition, and our experienced team could successfully recoat it without the need for replacement.
The paint system we use to recoat factory/loading doors is a 200% flexible, heavy-duty industrial paint system. It is designed not to flake or peel, no matter how often the doors are opened and closed.
There was also a personnel door that required painting. Recoating the doors on this unit gave a consistent finish across the site.
With disruption kept to a minimum, Precision Pallets & Cases could continue with their daily operations and were happy with the outcome of their refurbished unit. They can also rest assured knowing that any work completed by the Cladding Coatings team is guaranteed for a minimum of 10 years.
