You’ve decided to invest in your business and its future with a roof recoating and refurbishment project with Cladding Coatings. Now, you’re considering whether to select our standard site survey or enhance it with a drone survey.
Though not essential, a drone survey gives you that extra peace of mind. Of course, our free site surveys are carried out with that expert attention to detail that only comes with decades of experience, and are highly comprehensive. Yet even the most experienced teams cannot reach every area of your roof without installing access equipment, which is where the added benefit of a drone survey comes into play.

There are multiple reasons why a Cladding Coatings drone survey is a cost-effective investment in your roof coating project, including:
Spotting signs of deterioration in difficult-to-access areas. Naturally, every Cladding Coatings on-site survey is done with the greatest possible attention to detail. Yet drones can spot those tiny details high up on your property’s roof that are, typically, incredibly difficult to access.
Of course, we’ll set up our roof safe access systems (such as the 3M™ DBI-SALA® RoofSafe Anchor and Cable System) and make sure every inch your roof is assessed when we begin work on site. But a drone survey gives you, and us, as more detailed picture of your roof before we arrive, preventing any unexpected surprises for us both and increasing the accuracy of your free, pre-project quote.

Minimal disruption to your operations on site. Keeping disruption to a minimum so you can continue operating profitably and efficiently is vital to every project we do. With a drone survey, we don’t need as much access equipment to keep your team, and ours, safe while we complete our survey.
Not only do we safely operate the drones from a distance, their minimal set up time means we need less time on your site in order to quote. That even further reduces the impact of a Cladding Coatings roof recoating and refurbishment project on your business’ operations.
Providing footage to review as the project progresses. Our drones record everything they capture, giving us pictures and videos of your roof to review not just before we quote, but during the project itself. This allows us to monitor the exceptionally high standards we set for ourselves in even greater detail, pinpointing those areas needing extra attention and matching the video footage to the exact spot on your property’s roof.
What’s more, the drone footage gives you chance to see for yourself those before and after images of the work. Not only does this allow us to demonstrate the incredible work of our talented team, but it also gives you clear evidence of your investment and lets you check everything has met – if not exceeded – your expectations.
Evidencing project success. Many of our clients choose to book repeat drone surveys with us for multiple site projects. That was true for Synertec, who found drone surveys were hugely beneficial to give them even more accurate quotes, with a detailed plan of works, so they could invest in their long-term future with even greater confidence.
This imagery is also ideal if you need to evidence results, submit justifications for spend, or have any other similar need to showcase the value of an investment in your roof coating to stakeholders or leadership teams.

You can see before and after images from Synertec sites in Warrington in our case studies.
Our MD, Mike Hallwood, operates our drones. Mike has passed his PFCO written and flight exam for drones, which, coupled with his decades of roof recoating and refurbishment experience, means he knows exactly what to look out for to make sure your property’s roof is future proofed.
