Christmas 2014 saw the opening of the UK’s leading car supermarket, Motorpoint’s eighth site.

Situated next to the A557 in Widnes, the six-acre former Motor Nation car dealership has been completely refurbished inside and out. Over £1m has been spent on the transformation of the new Motorpoint store.

Cladding Coatings have been responsible for the redecoration of the external building envelope which includes cladding, guttering, windows, doors and canopy areas.

The existing building had a build-up of grime and the cream colour far from looking its best, the extent that became apparent when signage was removed.

Cladding Coatings carried out shopfront spraying and were able to match the Motorpoint brand colours, once the new signage was fitted the results spoke for themselves. Despite the unpredictable wintery weather the shop front refurbishment was still completed in time for the grand opening on boxing day.
