CarSupermarket.com is a nationally recognised car supermarket retailer expanding its business operations throughout the UK. Cladding Coatings have already completed external wall cladding refurbishment at a few sites, including Hessle, Stoke on Trent, Birmingham, and Grimsby.

Situated close to the River Humber and the major A63 road network, this Car Supermarket branch sits in a prominent location with many people passing it throughout the day. Car Supermarket knew how important it was to ensure their car showroom stood out for the right reasons to entice customers to come in and look around. They also knew the importance of cladding maintenance and ensuring that their external metal wall cladding was up to standard to help protect their valuable cars, stock, staff and visitors.

Initial On-site Assessment

Cladding Coatings visited the site in Hull to conduct a free on-site survey to establish exactly what cladding maintenance and refurbishment work would be required.

It was evident that the shopfront and external wall cladding was looking a little tired and worn and wasn’t giving the best first impression to potential customers.

Professional external metal wall cladding coating

Car Supermarket have been rebranding their car showrooms, so it was important that this site followed suit and had the same cohesive, uniform finish.

The external metal wall cladding coating was showing signs of deterioration. The team cleaned and prepared the metal cladding to ensure the surface was clean and clear, ready for a smooth and consistent paint application.

Once the surface was ready, we used our on-site spraying technique to accurately apply one of our trusted paint systems to the external cladding. On-site spraying is an excellent paint application technique as it gives a professional finish.

As the car showroom is in an industrial area close to the River Humber, we needed to select a paint system suitable for the environment. The paint system we elected to use provides excellent corrosion protection and waterproofing and is available in a wide range of colours.
