DPD Unit, Warrington

Onsite cladding spraying was carried out on this industrial unit to freshen up the exterior and ensure it gave the right impression for the courier brand.

Cladding cleaning and cladding painting were essential for this unit on a popular estate in the Northwest to maintain client reputation.

One of our latest projects saw us take care of cladding maintenance on an industrial site, recently let by a household name keen to uphold their strong brand identity.

Understanding the need for building upkeep

The warehouse unit on Gawsworth Court in Warrington was leased by DPD. The international parcel delivery service company knew they had to keep their unit safe and secure to protect not only their staff but the vast quantity of personal items they were processing for delivery. A failing façade that allowed the inside of the property to become damaged was simply not an option.

The 8,966 sq. ft. unit is on a modern estate, surrounded by other units occupied by household names. It is also a prominent location, accessed immediately from the M62 and close by the M6 motorway. As such, our client knew first impressions counted and they needed to stand out on the estate for all the right reasons.

A transparent quote based on a free site survey

To understand the work required, we began by visiting the unit to carry out a free of charge on site survey for our client. Doing this made sure we could use our expertise to identify any problems first-hand, making sure we’re aware of all issues when we begin work. That way, when we arrived on site, neither our team nor are client were presented with any unexpected surprises!

Our site surveys also mean we could provide fair, fast and accurate quotations. As we assessed the property in person, we knew what was needed. That way, our costs were transparent and best estimates from the start, building trusted client relationships straight away.

Cladding cleaning and painting for a professional finish

Once our quote was accepted by the client, our team got to work. The first thing we needed to do was to clean the front elevations and the loading door. This is part of our crucial cladding cleaning service, which makes sure the façade is completely ready for smooth and efficient paint application. We used our high-powered systems to remove dirt, debris and flaking paint from the building, helping to prolong cladding lifespan.

Once the cladding was cleaned and prepared, we turned our attention to painting both the loading door and front elevation using the pre-specified system. As approved installers of a number of industry leading paint systems for cladding coating applications, we have a strong portfolio of tried and tested products to choose from. These include 7500 AlkythaneⓇ and Noxyde®, both by Rust-Oleum, and Tor Elastaseal™ Fibretex, which is ideal for cut-edge corrosion repair.

The project was completed with the client benefiting from our minimum ten year guarantee for optimal peace of mind in all our work. We’re proud to offer this guarantee as a testament to the confidence we have that our work is of exceptional quality and stands the test of time. We’re delighted our clients agree, as you can see from our case studies here.
