On this storage facility at Winsford, we re-coated doors, windows and shutters alongside the external wall elevation for a repeat customer.

This time, they asked us to work on a site of theirs that’s close to home for us in Winsford, Cheshire. For this site, The Storage Team entrusted us with external wall cladding coating as well as taking care of the finer painting details across internal and external windows, doors and shutters.

The building was newly aquired by The Storage Team however it was brand new with construction teams still on site. This project wasn’t about refurbishing the external decay but to re-brand and change the colour scheme of the vast facade.

We were able to re-coat several areas of the building to ensure it was inkeeping with other properties owned by the brand. Initially a digital mock up was created to ensure that the chosen colour scheme worked with the existing and that it also worked alongside the new signage.

Installing 15-year guaranteed paint systems

Our work on site for The Storage Team in Cheshire began with expert application of a 15-year paint system. This long-guaranteed system gives our client enhanced peace of mind in our high-performance paints and expert application methods.

We installed the 15-year system to two key areas. Firstly, we recoated the cladding on the large dark blue panels on each elevation. External wall cladding coating expertise was vital here to make sure such a prominent area achieved the right professional image and performed perfectly. Next, we installed the same 15-year system to all aspects of the property that were orange, converting them into our client’s brand colourways.

It was important to have a long lasting protection due to the new build, combined the property would last over a decade with very minimal maintainance required.

Transforming external walls and doors

Once the primary elevations had been sprayed by our team, we turned our attention to other external areas of the unit. Though less prominent than the primary elevations, working on each element showed not only our team’s commitment to thorough work but also our client’s understanding of the need to attend to finer details for a strong professional brand image overall.

For this part of the project, we recoated nine door sets, eight windows to the side elevation, two fire doors and two sectional colours. Across all areas, we used varied paint colours to suit our client’s preferences. Thanks to our unique colour matching service, they were able to clearly decide on the colours to specify prior to application.

Repainting internal areas

Once the external cladding painting work was completed, we finalised the project with internal door and window coating. This covered eight internal door sets and eight windows to the side elevation, painted in complementary colours for perfect professional finishing touches.
