Jake Eastwood is celebrating 10 years of working at Cladding Coatings this year. We are delighted to mark the occasion and look back over what has been an exciting and transformational decade during his time with us.
Jake started work at the company in early 2012, ready for the start of a busy season of wall and roof coating. At the time it was a very small team headed by Michael Hallwood Senior, the family run business had seen an increased demand for commercial coating services and we were looking to increase our team. As a family member, Jake fitted into the team straight away and began his learning journey with us.
Some of the early projects Jake worked on were The Life Church in Bradford and Sports Direct in Darlington.
On projects such as these Jake learnt his trade and gained valuable experience becoming familiar with a wide variety of coating systems, used on a range of projects across the UK.
Often spending time working away, Jake has been able to see lots of new places as work has taken him from Scotland to Kent and Wales to Whitby!
Becoming one of our most experienced team members, Jake became contracts manager and has managed some incredible and some challenging projects. Some of the most recent include Bibby’s in Scunthorpe and DHL in Leicester.
Due to the nature of what we do, inevitably Jake has had to endure the British weather at all times of the year from standing on a roof in the hottest weather to surveying cladding in freezing temperatures and all the variations in between.
Managing Director, Mike Hallwood congratulates Jake. “A big thank you for your commitment to the company over these 10 years Jake.
Your work ethic, contribution and passion for quality is second to none.”
Jake is an outstanding team member and has great relationships with our clients, which those of you who have ever worked with us I’m sure will have encountered.
Well done Jake and keep doing what you are doing, you’re such a great asset and your expertise is invaluable.
