Chief Productions, Media City, Manchester

Refurbishment of roller shutters, windows and doors and onsite re-spraying of gutters, metal cladding and brickwork.

Chief Productions based at Media City, Salford, Manchester requested that Cladding Coatings came to look at their premises that were in much need of refurbishment. Flaking paint and faded metal cladding panels were just some of their problems. For a successful production company in Media City, image was very important and the building needed to match their brand.

Cladding Coatings surveyed the property and proposed a suitable coating system to be applied. The work was booked in for Spring as it would be better weather and working conditions. The client chose the colour scheme to suit their company branding.

In early March work commenced in preparing and cleaning the surfaces. Roller shutter doors were degreased and windows and doors were masked. This involved a degree of co-ordination from the client as parking bays were closed and access to a water supply was needed.

The two coat high performance system was then applied and masking removed, the work was checked over carefully and the site left clean and tidy.

The fully repainted front and gable elevations looked completely uplifted and renewed, the chosen black colour set against the orange logo perfectly.

The 700m2 project included onsite spraying of gutters, metal cladding, brick work and shutter doors.
