Rotrex, Alfreton

The colour change, refurbishment and quality finish stand out on this project. The building now matches the company branding and the impressive looking facility gives a great impression to any visitors to the site.

You’ll know how important the right paint systems are for a commercial painting project. There’s a great deal to consider, from substrate to application method, so it’s crucial to make sure the product being used is the right one for your building.

Cladding Coatings

As a project manager, you need to know the cladding coatings company you choose can apply the perfect products for your property. Thanks to our expertise, our team knew which systems was ideal for one of our latest clients, Rotrex.

We delivered their cladding coating project in June 2020 using industry-leading systems for a smooth and safe façade finish.

Protecting properties for essential operations

Rotrex is a UK-based business operating worldwide. Based in Derby, they provide winch hire, sales and support across the globe, and serve the UK market with cradle and fall protection equipment. Therefore, the work they do and the products they provide are vital.

With clients including the Royal National Lifeboat Association and the National Grid, efficient operations and stock security could not be compromised. Our team were on site in June 2020, able to carry out essential building maintenance repair and refurbishment work while meeting all social distancing guidelines.

Cladding coating using trusted systems

For the commercial painting project at Rotrex, we chose to use Noxyde by Rust-Oleum®, supplied by Rawlins Paints. It’s one of our most-used paint systems thanks to its wide range of excellent benefits. It lends itself perfectly to onsite spraying application as it is an elastomeric coating, meaning it is ten-times thicker than paint yet still incredibly flexible in its structure.

Rustoleum Paint

As Noxyde® by Rust-Oleum is waterproof, it has great rust-proofing and anti-corrosion properties, meaning any building owner or manager can rest assured they’ve specified a commercial painting system that stands the test of time.

At Rotrex, we installed the Noxyde® by Rust-Oleum system to the front facade, including the low-level white cladding band. Our careful application methods used by our experienced onsite spraying team made sure these different colours were clearly maintained. We also installed the same system to the right elevation of the building, which included respraying the loading door – vital for day-to-day operations.

Peace of mind for project managers

Noxyde® by Rust-Oleum is a ten-year system. This means it’s protected by our minimum ten-year guarantee, which accompanies all our work and gave Rotrex total assurance in the long-term security of our systems. You can learn more about how we support you with our decade-long guarantee here.

We were able to carry out a digital mock up of the building in advance before any work started which made it easier for a decision to be made over which colour system to use in which area.
