Office refurbishment project, onsite spraying of the external facade was required to improve rental potential of this vacant building.

This property has been unoccupied for 9 months which is costly for the landlord as business rates are still chargeable ( £5,000pm ) and it is not generating any income ( £10,000pm ).

By improving the appearance of rental premises the aim here is to minimise the time they are left vacant. The landlord needed more viewings in this vacant office building so a modern, crisp and clean look was applied with the hope that the property becomes leased quickly.

Though the reasons for refurbishment differed from the neighbouring site one, the same system and colour scheme was used on both sites. Specialists Cladding Coatings Ltd had been refurbishing this building at the end of February and the agent had a couple of potential tenants interested before they even finished on site.

Cladding Coatings were previously working on the occupied unit next door and were approached whilst on site to continue onto this second unit.

They have since completed work on the roof of site 2 in March which involved treating the delaminated and corroded profile sheets, completing the office refurbishment.
